February 20, 2010: FHS Wrestling Sectionals Results

The Fairborn High School Wrestling Team competed in the Sectional tournament on Saturday at Centerville High School. Five Skyhawks qualified for the District Tournament by placing in the top four in their weight class. Kyle Clevinger (119) and Cody Davis (140) were champions while Lee Skinner (HVY) was runner-up. Placing fourth were Josh Hanna (152) and Travis Bates (215). Placing fifth and qualifying for districts as an alternate was Alec Hammond (135). The five qualifiers will compete in the District Tournament at Fairfield this Friday and Saturday. The top four placers in each weight class will qualify for the State Tournament held at The Ohio State University.
